After you have submitted your file, you have the chance to download a special confirmation report called a “Flat File Acknowledgement, or FFA”. This can be done immediately or you can dial back in within a few days and get the report. The process was started in the terminal session above, but here are the step by step instructions:
· At ENTER LETTER OF SELECTION ==> type G
· At READY TO RECEIVE REPORT(S) (Y/N) ==> prompt type Y.
· When the message PLEASE START YOUR ZMODEM RECEIVE PROCESS... appears, press -R to start the zmodem “receive process”. Xact’s computer will send the following information.
### Receive (Z) b98P8_000073.10: 1194 bytes, 0:01 elapsed, 1038 cps, 39%
· Be sure to note the file name, which in this case is b98P8_000073.10
After you have either sent or received a file, Xact returns you to the main menu where you can logoff by doing the following.
· At ENTER LETTER OF SELECTION ==> type L
· At YOU HAVE SELECTED TO LOGOFF (Y/N) ==> type Y
· The terminal session below shows the logoff sequence. To hang up the phone press -H.
